Birthday

Today is my husband's birthday. :o) I don't really have a whole lot planned for tonight, because we already did everything over the weekend. Josh, and Angela and I set up a surprise dinner for him, and we took him out to Gambardella's. He didn't know Josh and Ang were involved in the whole scheme until we got to the restaurant. Ok, here's what happened. Mike had to work a side job all day, so I told him he HAD to be home, and ready to leave the house at 6:00 (reservations were at 6:30). So at that point he knew something was up, but he didn't know why or what was going on. So, while he was working, I mixed up this cake mix that you bake in the croc pot (recipe courtesy of Jenn, thanks Jenn, it was AWESOME!!!) and I took it over to Josh and Ang's house, for them to put in the croc pot before they left, so it could cook while we were at dinner. So, mike came home at 5:15 and we got ready to leave. About half way to Gambardella's, Mike figured out where we were going, but he still didn't know it was for his birthday, and he still didn't know that Josh and Ang were going to be there. We were walking inside and he saw their car, and he was like "Is Josh and Ang here?" I said, "What? I don't know." It was funny. So we get inside, and I whisper to the lady at the door that the reservations are for 4 and they're under Lambert, but the other two are already there. So she told us how to get upstairs, and we went up there, and Josh and Ang were sitting at the table. That's when Mike finally caught on, and when Josh said, "Happy early birthday!". It was funny. So we had an awesome dinner, and a lot of fun just talking, and enjoying each other's company. Here are some pictures at Gambardella's.

After dinner, we went back to Josh and Ang's. The cake wasn't quite done cooking, so we opened presents. :o) Josh got him this cool polo shirt from American Eagle. I got him this cool Burton suitcase offline, and 2 Burton t-shirts, a new Burton beanie, and a new pair of snowboarding socks (Burton of course). Needless to say, he was excited about all of his presents. :o) I ordered his suitcase on the first of July, expecting it to take a couple weeks to get here. I had it shipped to work, so he wouldn't know about it, and it got here 3 days after I ordered it! And let me tell you, I had the HARDEST time keeping my mouth shut for 4 weeks about it! :o) I love surprises. Anyways, after presents we ate the chocolate cake and ice cream. It was SOOOO good. If anyone wants the recipe, I will give it to you. I'm going to make it again sometime soon. :o) Anyways, here are some pictures of present time. :o)
So happy. :o)

Honey Moon Day 3 - Tuesday

We went Surfing on Tuesday.

This is out behind Surf & Sea, the company that we got our surfing lessons from.

Mike wrote I Luv U in the sand, so of course, I had to take a picture. :o)

This is Mike paddling out. the guy further out behind him is our instructor.

Us with our surf boards.

After Surfing, we went to the Dole Pineapple Plantation.

I was eating a pineapple chili dog. It was actually kinda good. :o)

Pineapple Ice cream. :o)

Just some driving pictures

Well, there you have day 3. :o) Not sure when you'll get day 4, but I'll make an attempt. I did get my wedding pictures back yesterday. :o) So...as soon as I get the honey moon pictures posted, I'll get started on the wedding ones. :o)

Pretty Blog

So, I finally figured out how to change my background. I'm much happier with it now, although I'm a little annoyed that it deleted all my pictures in my side bar. I'm going to have to put them all back now. Does anyone know how to keep that from happening? (Maybe Tobi, since you've changed your blog around a couple times?) Any help would be appreciated.

Anyways, let me know what you think of the new look....unless you hate it, then you can just keep that one to yourself. :o) So let me rephrase: Any positive feedback is welcome. :o)

Hope you all are having a good day! Talk to ya later.

Day 2: Monday

So, most of these first half are just of us driving around Waikiki, and stuff. The first half of the pictures is actually the second half of day 2. The second half of the pictures is the first half of our day, I just posted them wrong, and sorry, but I certainly do not feel like trying to deal with this and fix it. Anyways, here they are. :o)

A little lizard we saw outside our condo.

A REALLY Big drum. Note the little sign next to it. If you look closely you can see how big the man plating it is in comparison. It was pretty huge. Picture doesn't really portray that though.

Ok, this was the first half of our day. We went snorkeling at Hanauma bay, which is a sunken volcano crater. The reef and fish here are pretty cool. we had a great time, but battling the waves is pretty tiring. It was awesome though.
This is the crater.

It is a really popular place to go, but when we got there at 7:00 in the morning, there weren't many people yet, so that was nice. Then we left when it started to get more crowded, so we missed a lot of the mob. That was nice.

See all the people? Trust me, it gets worse. We were on our way out.

There you have it. Day 2. :o) Hope you liked them. We'll see when I get around to day 3. Haha. Talk to ya later.
